I Promised Not To Do It Again

More salt, more sugar
More sour, more sweet

More beats, more energy
More cravings, more addiction

Bitter blood, sweet blood
Diluted blood, thick blood

Screaming vessels, stenotic vessels
Pounding vessels, sluggish vessels

Pressures rising, failing pumps
Tears tearing, organs inflaming

More mirrors, more fears
Calorie counts failing, organs deteriorating

Too much salt, too much sugar
Too much work, to fix the extremes

A stark warning to us Njeri - so easy to over indulge on salt and sugar especially that hidden in processed foods and sadly our health can suffer - wise words indeed:-) hugs Jan xx
