I Praise His Hands, They Are Scarred With Love
I.
Holy is He-
who is called by glory’s name,
my Light and Salvation-
Since Easter morning,
my life’s not the same,
He’s the giver of peace
in this world’s creation...
giving me a hopeful sensation.
Chorus:
I praise His hands,
for they are scarred with love-
Just like a white turtle dove,
created from the Heavens above-
Only He understands,
what it’s like to be a man...
oh, I praise His hands,
they are scarred with love.
II.
Holy is His word-
it sings of acclimation,
exalting peace
and truth to believers-
I’ve been saved,
from sin and condemnation,
He is sincere
and a holy redeemer...
oh, my soul-
has never been cleaner.
Chorus:
I praise His hands,
for they are scarred with love-
Just like a white turtle dove
from the Heavens above-
Only He understands,
what it’s like to be a man...
oh, I praise His hands,
they are scarred with love.
Holy is His name!
My Life’s not the same-
Holy is His word!
May the truth be heard.
From the heavens above,
oh, I praise His hands...
for they are scarred with love.
