I Pledge My Soul

I pledge my alligence to my write, to my ink and my hand
May the feather never dry
I promise to write in the name of my love Paula
For I shall marry her and reside in her arms the rest of my days
To hold her, kiss her and love her til my breath dries
For so long the sun burns
And the days a-light
I shall look forward to falling deeper in love with my bear
I as the writer that I am
To her love and reason I stand
For tomorrow is my brighter day
It is the fire in her, that burns a glow
To all of this I pledge my heart and ink
For you my dearest bear
