I PLEA

Another 
year 
comes
to an end
Why so fast
Can’t comprehend

Each moment
Each hour
Each day
for me
No sooner 
I awaken 
‘tis time
for bed
I’m taken
 
Slow down
for me
just for awhile
a little
more time
‘tis all
I ask

In the sun
by the sea
with my
loving  family
just for me
slow down
I plea…
