I Peter 4: 12-18

Dear friends, don"t be bewildered or surprised

When you go through the firey trials ahead

For this is no strange, unusual thing

That is going to happen to you

Instead, be really glad---because these trials

Will make you partners with Christ in His suffering

And afterwards you will have the wonderful joy

In sharing His glory in that coming day

When it will be displayed....

Be happy if you are cursed and insulted, for

Being a Christian~

For when that happens the Spirit of God

Will come upon you with great glory....

Don't let me here of your suffering for murdering

Or stealing or making trouble or being a busybody

Prying into other people's affairs

But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian

Praise God for the privilege of being in Christ's family

And being called by His wonderful name!

For the time has come for judgment....

And it must begin first among God's own children

And if we who are Christians must be judged

What terrible fate awaits those

Who have never believed in the Lord?

If the righteous are barely saved....

What chance will the godless have?

So if you are suffering according to God's will

Keep on doing what is right

And trust yourself to God who made you~

For, He shall never fail you!

I am so very glad to hear that, and thank you sooo much, for this amazingly beautiful tribute to moi. :) You are very gifted, and a kind man. Now, as for my favorite hockey team, I have none, anymore, my allegance lies with the Winnipeg Jets, who are no more. :) have agreat day, and thanks again!! Kristin

Hi john. I did not realize that poem was intended for me! Thank you so much...but (please don't get angry or offended when I say this) but I hope this is purely poetic imagination...I'm a happily married woman with 5 kiddos! please set my mind at ease, and tell me you only see me as a friend, and nothing more?

Thank you for the inspiration that you share with all who are lucky enough to read your work. Thank you for your kind words and for reminding me that there is more to all of us than just our earthly existance. This piece reminded me of this passage John 15:18-25. Love Robin

John, thank you for this. This is amazing, and yes, it feels like this was speaking directly to me. I needed this now, as you know, my life is wrought with challenges, and I shall never bend! Never!!! Especially in these times - I am not going to let the Godless win. no way. blessings to you always, Kristin

and that is where the true miracle in my life resides - Sometimes it feels as natural as water running down hill - Other times I feel like I'm about to explode - I do know that what ever trials I face be it transpiration, finical or spiritual the Lord provides me with whatever I need to keep me on the path I'm on which is really amazing to see and be a part of - Great poetry John - God Bless, Michael

John this poem is simply excellent - There is a couple of poems I have read this morning that seem to almost be written directly to me at least as I read them that is how it feels - The last year of my life has just been one grueling trial after another - Injectable Kimo for the hep c, back surgery and learning that the nerve damage is permanent in my right leg etc. Yet here I sit still clean and sober and doing my best to serve - I may not always be right but I'm trying to do the right thing -
