I Passed a Test

I passed a test
I took two steps forwards
  I'm nearing success
 But just as I leap
 My heart begins to sink
Cause I am free from this test
But that doesn't free me from the rest
    Before counting meant 1,2,3
Now I have to count credits
Do they all add up to how many I need?
If it isn't one thing it's another
I was so happy about this test
      I almost cried
        So many nights
      I'd lie awake thinking
If only I could pass this test
I will be free as a bird
         Flying from it's nest
But this test was just my test
I don't know how ironic that is
So here I am in a new state
                A new mind
Why is it that the taste of victory never
Lingers in your mouth for long?
             I have new obstacles
              New roads to cross
But I will take in this moment
                    A moment where I felt
                        Extremely proud
For one instant no outside voices ruined my Joy
                                 For once I succeeded.
                                      I passed the test.
                                     I made it through.
