I Own the Night

My feet hit the pavement
the night sky passes me
I run like something is waiting
my thoughts become of less and less
as i relax myself in this moment of nothing
nothing but the thought of no stress
my breathing picks up
my heart beats faster
I'm on a high
I can not describe
the moon shines brightly on my face
as I slowly
pick up the pace
I feel I have the power
as I race by another hour
nothing can stop me
nothing can make me stand still
no one in the world I know can feel
what I feel now
soon I see the daylight
I am fine
for once again
I will soon
OWN THE NIGHT

Beautiful write, Autumn (What a name!) Sounds like the joy of jogging? If not it is still breathtaking!....Tim
