I Own Mine Hbu

Come & talk to me come & walk with me let's leave the deceit & egos behind for a second I think thats what's blocking our reckoning I'll start by owning my part I didn't cherish your heart like I promised that I would I was more preoccupied with my image in the hood I would go out for hours almost days & when you called I'd always bang play light skin coy  I would laugh to myself & say let ya nuts hang boy So I admit I was a dastardly fool wrapped in the finest garments to maintain my cool I know I pushed you too far away from where we were I was out every other night behind enemy lines knocking them down like Steve Kerr The girls name on the mirror the magnum wrappers in the room when the girl described my house it all spelled doom Guilty as charged but let me plead my case you were perfect but against myself I was in a race I got insecure & had to out do the magnificent things I did yesterday you are the only one I truly loved the rest were definitely throwaway  I think I gave some gossip for Vern a lesson to be learned the fire still burns now it's your turn
