I Once Was Alone

I once was alone
And sat in my home
The weekends went by
No love on my mind
My tv played overtime
My couch was well sat upon
I started to pout
So I ventured out
To try something new
To walk and renew
Then my eyes set on you
And out of the blue
My heart was a flutter
You were there like no other
My thoughts swirled around
An interest I found
I just had to know
My face was aglow
I asked you to go
And we went to a show
You impressed me so
We felt the warmth grow
I wanted your touch
You wanted as much
We spent time together
No matter the weather
And discovered a love
That turned out quite fun
We still feel new
And I dream of you
You think of me
It's a hit, copy.

I like this, speaks volumes for getting up and doing something to improve the situation.

It feels weary and sad to be alone. Tfs friend!
