I Often Look At the Sky

I often look at the sky
For views, answers and peace
The moving clouds, letting me release
All worries I stand by

I often look at the sky
Lifted by colors and light
Carrying me through day and night
Letting rain wash tears I cry

I often look at the sky
Formations of change to inspire
The drive in me burns like a fire
Truth beyond every lie

I often look at the sky
The gift it brings me, I’m grateful
God’s creation is plentiful
I have no doubts as to why

I often look at the sky
With my prayers for others too
Sending them across miles of blue
I look, I love, I dream, I fly
