I Never Wish You Were

I NEVER WISH YOU WERE

There’s a sad in your eyes
I can feel there’s a story
The smile on your cheeks
They remind me of misery

But you never tell anyone
You’re battling with trouble
For you never let me light you
Now you’re gone in my sight

The river of sorrow
It’s falling from your eyes
They were tears of heartache
But you never let them fly

The day when you stared at skies
Watching clouds conquered the world
As skies chose to turn into grey
But I never wish you were
