Listen to poem:
by Bob Moore © 2017 I never was a soldier, wars seemed to pass me by too young for one, the next too old, it makes you wonder why A roll of the dice, a number picked, and you’re the next to go, how will it be, will you fit in, guess I will never know The ones who join of their free will, not waiting for the call, is it for adventure, not believing they may fall now the time to remember them is with us once again, remembered for their sacrifice, the bloodshed, and the pain the 11th hour, 11th day 11th month each year, we spend a silent moment, and for them we shed a tear we will remember all who served, those who came home, those who did not are thought of in fondest memory and will never be forgot WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
