I Never Thanked You

I was just a kid
No clue of the challenges ahead
Looking back you were truly
An angel put on my path
To walk me through a tough transition

You even looked like my grand-mother
I was such a naïve gullible youth
Totally blind to your silver angel wings
Or did I really believe it was normal
That loving people all have wings

Wow I love this one Line. I had people who were angels in my earlier years, who I think of often. I can relate to this and your words show your recognition and appreciation. Well done! :)
