I Never Let Myself Down

I felt defeated and drained out
For the thing, l never thought
I was left all alone
To recover the things that were gone

That storm was more destructive than I ever think
Took all my hopes in one blink
My dreams broke
All in one stroke

I found myself lost in the middle track
Something hitting from the back
I was in depths of despair
Thinking about how could I repair

After those hard days
I am stronger in many ways
I will not let my tears go in vain
And will end up all my pain

I have nothing more to lose
All to get in use
I will get my dreams once more
Even if I have to break the mountain before...

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.

Hello Shreva Sinh, First i want to welcome you to Poetry Soup. I look forward to reading more of your poetry. I sense a lot of pain written here. When I am in pain I think of My mountain and speak to it. I say" Pain, be gone!" Until it is gone. Enjoy your day my friend.
