Listen to poem:
I Never Knew You
I never knew you; you were always wearing a mask
Empty days waiting; my love for you became a task
Every day full of lies, in my lonely heart, it just cries
It is defeated; as the winds carry my last good-byes
Best forgot, I never knew you
Heading home, I stand alone before I close my door
Calmer now, because in this place, you are no more
To loving arms that never even held me, not missed
Remembering nothings that will soon cease to exist
Best forgot, I never knew you
As the sun rises on another day, feels good, I am ok
Showering me in its rays, I feel pure, I’m on my way
I saw the truth, I understand, it’s my life so my plan
It’s my time now, that time with you it never began
I never knew you
