I Never Forgot His Dancing Eyes and Incredible Smile

He had no idea how funny he was I knew, and laughed at all his clever ways He liked that, and we became best friends He told jokes. I laughed as if my guts were climbing out You are a great audience he told me Not with his words, but with his dancing eyes His incredible smile agreed We were best friends until my family moved away I was lonely, sad, and morbidly depressed. There is no instant friend when you are eight Other children already have their friends Girls especially do not open up their hearts easily to a new girl I tried to pretend everything was okay It was at night in my dreams as I sat Next to my best friend and enjoyed his jokes. I never forgot his dancing eyes and incredible smile.

This can be so true. I moved after 6th grade. Before that my friend’s dad was assigned to Canada so that was a heartbreak too!
