I Needed You
You said you'd always be there,
But you left me all alone.
You promised you'd help me,
But you abandoned me.
You said you'd stand up for me,
But you kicked me when I was down.
You told me you loved me,
But you replaced me.
You said I was your best friend,
But you didn't have time for me.
You said you'd face my problems with me,
But you forgot all about me.
You said that I mattered,
But you made me feel hopeless.
You told me you'd be honest with me,
But you lied to my face.
You said you'd never leave me,
But you stabbed me in the back.
You said that we would do this together,
But you left me when I needed you the most....
