I Need the Sun

When the night falls
I don’t want to be alone
I want a place to call my home
The darkness feels so heavy and if I turn around I’ll run
All my big ideas are hollow now and everyone has gone
I need the sun

When the reaper calls
I don’t want to go alone
I want to feel I’m going home
The darkness has no pity but I’ve got no place to run
All my pet ideas are worthless now and no one else can come
Hold my hand, give me a light
I need the sun
