I Miss You Daddy
Daddy
Today is your birthday Daddy
I miss you so much
All I wish for is one last hug
To be held tight in your arms and feel safe again
And for you Daddy to take all my pain
Life is hard since you've gone
I've never felt so alone
I try so hard to stay strong
But things seem to go wrong
Your love and guidance showed me the way
But now I'm lost and walking a stray
I need to see you one last time
So I can have peace of mind
You were a magical father in every possible way
That's why I prayed to God and asked if you could stay
If I could of had you for a little longer
I know in my heart I would have been stronger
God said he needed you but I needed you more
You walked towards heaven and God closed the door
I knew I would never see you anymore
I yelled out to you Daddy please stay around
Then I collapsed on the ground
You turned and gave me one last kiss
And that is what I miss
I love you Daddy today , forever and always
