I Miss You Babe
As I lie under the swaying palms
Another pisco sour in my hand
Watching the crystal blue surf roll in
Sparkling on the thirsty white beach
Of what they call paradise,
I peer through my shades
At couples in love
Hovering around the bar
Wondering what you’re doing
A thousand miles away
Where the snowflakes fall.
The words were harsh the day I left.
Once said, cannot be taken back.
Torn and confused, my getaway
Has become filled with loneliness.
I miss you babe
And want you to wet my thigh
With your love babe.
The local music begins
As I have another pisco sour
Watching the bodies sway
And the red glow of the sunset
Spreads over the endless sea.
Hands are holding each other tight
As lovers laugh and whisper
The words only lovers speak.
I miss you babe
And want you to wet my thigh
With your love babe
I want you to touch me
And hold me tight
I want to feel your passion.
I watch him walk slowly
Towards me from the bar of lovers,
Another pisco sour in his hand.
We drink together, we laugh,
We solve world problems,
I become light headed as the warm breeze
Lifts my hair off my shoulders
In the glow of the setting sun.
He takes my hand
And we dance real close.
The lights are dimmed and he whispers soft words
That only lovers speak.
I miss you babe
And want to wet your thigh
With my love babe
I want to touch you
And hold you tight
I want to feel your passion
I miss you babe…..
