I Miss You

I miss you
How can I forget you?
 You went away
And left me behind 

I just wish you could hear me 
There’s so much I need to say 
Just come back, Just for a minute 
There’s so much I need to tell you
Things I didn’t feel I could say 
Until now 

I miss you 
How can I forget you?
You went away
And left me behind

I need to tell you
It’s hard for me to say these things 
I know you were taken too early
But the pain just won’t stop
I just wish I could have seen you
In those last few days 

I miss you 
How can I forget you?
You went away 
And left me behind 

There’s so much I’ve done now
So much that you won’t know 
I try to come and see you
But it’s difficult 
It’s been 7 years now
And yet it feels like yesterday that I saw you last

I miss you 
How can I forget you?
You went away 
And left me behind 

I was too young to know 
Know what was happening 
I just need some advice 
And I know you’d be the first to help 
Why doesn’t anyone else understand? 
I need help 

But there’s no one left to give it to me
