I Miss the Love That Conquers the World

Peeling Roasted Peanuts
listening to the rain on a Saturday night
in April
the invisible sound
Knocks, shakes, wakes my heart
sleeping love
selfish, struggling for survival
scarred
I hug the old lover today
this woman in my arms
if i didn't choose
she will have no wounds
Before long, the scent of peanuts
the invisible scent
outside the window, the sound of rain late at night
becomes and spreads
street no one can see
who likes this night
on this street full of
loneliness of indifference
Who likes it.
