I Miss the Future I'll Never Have

I want to cry into your love
But it is not my place
I want to kiss your forehead, dove
But I bury my face

I want to be hugged so bad, my dear
But I'm asleep alone
You'll never caress my face, I fear
But I'll stay on the phone
