Notes:

I met someone who could have been the twin of Vladimir Putin. We both smiled as he saw right away I saw the similarity, sort of a mutual understanding, just a smile in an ordinary day. In that brief nod, I think we both understood, the real situation in Russia.

However let there be no doubt, the real Vladimir Putin is a murderer, who uses state tools to carry out his personal vendettas, no different than any mafia.

The photo is of Alexander Litvenko, feel free to research the name.

What a shock
Literally an earthquake shock
Strolling through the thrift store
And there he was, an employee, of all things
taking stock from the shelf and packing them right up
He deemed shelves better empty than full
Vladimir Putin!
I almost walked right over him!
He had such a serious solemn face
I couldn't help but stare
He stared right back
He held his glare
Quietly, I whispered
"I know who you are my friend"
He looked around nervously
"shhhhhhhhh" he said
Responding I said "it's ok Vlad, the secret shall be ours and ours alone"
spa-see-ba
pa-zhal-sta
As I walked away I saw a slight grin on his face
I too smiled
Someone you see
Has the same sense of humor as me!
Alexander though couldn't laugh
He was dead

You are so original Arthur, I do love thee(lol)! I'm a big fan of Garry Kasparov --- he doesn't have many good things to say of Putin! Or David Icke either ! I have to fave this gem, such Wit. Sorry about Alexander I'm sure he did more for his country than Putin;-)

Hi Arthur, a well written tale you set before us. I remember the way Litvenko was killed. A poem written in your own inimitable style, holding my attention from beginning to end. Have a wonderful tuesday. Your friend....Mike.
