I May Not Understand

I may not understand

I may not understand 
half of the things that 
you've been through

But I would like
to get know 
everything about you

If you will let me

Because I do 
care about you

So hopefully some day

When you are ready 

You can sit down with me

And we can drink 
some 
coffee or some  tea

And you can 
tell 
me your story

Because it would help me 
to have a better understanding
of what you’ve been through
