I Loved You

Deep within my soul
From the depth of my heart
I did love you with my whole
Even on days we were more of dog and cat
I still loved you
The whole of you

Each time I did wish you were mine
Especially during out walks at nine
Until the man of many beards came to take you away
Silently I cried watching you with him go away
Then I realized I only loved you silently in my actions
But never seriously proceeded out of my mouth
Maybe words speak louder than actions
Anyways…
