I Love You More Than Sleep

I can’t fall asleep, I don’t want to sleep, 
Being awake is so much more fun,
As at last reality outdoes all my dreams, 
Now I have found my number one,

With a beautiful smile, voice, and a laugh, 
Beautiful eyes into her soul,
I’m staying awake to absorb all her love, 
Enjoying the passionate stroll.

You see, before I met her, I was a little bit fake, 
Smiles were forced from my face,
And I’d enjoy drifting off to sleep every night, 
Drift off from my lovely mistakes,

But now, when she lies flush beside me, 
My love comes from somewhere down deep,
And I’m caught in this beautiful moment of us, 
Much better than falling asleep.
