I Love You For Always

The sun quietly shielded her clear green eyes
As she strolled in the sand, birds flying high.

Her mind made up, though her heart unsure
She fought back the tears as the shadows whirled.

He is my life, my heart, every breath I take
A part of me, from our very first date.

As she smiled, so slightly amidst a flury of memories
Her cheeks moist, body trembling, she fell to her knees.

In a faint subtle voice, almost lost in the air
She whispers with love, I wish you were here.

Then just when she thought she could take no more
The most beautiful shell washed up on the shore.

As she gazed at its beauty, so magical and pure
She held her head high, and wiped away the tears.

You will forever be, my first and last
I love you for always
For all that we had.

Very emotional with a smooth flow. I hope you have learned that as overwhelming as a first love can be, love is not a one time thing.
