I Love You But

I love you, it is a simple truth.... But I can no longer allow myself to need you, too often this has lead to hurt I love you, your name has been carved into my heart.... But I can no longer allow myself to desire you, too often this leads to disappointment I love you, my heart sings at the thought of you..... But I have to learn to quiet the music, because dancing alone just isn't the same I love you, I will always love you.... But I have to change what is, because what was.. is gone Love never dies, no matter what some will tell you... It simply changes, need and desire lessen, passions quiet, and acceptance for what is becomes more then what was......or might have been.... Acceptance is often the hardest step on this journey....
