I Love You Because For Mat Caliri's Competition

You are an avenue
Of peeping daffodils
Dancing in the evening wind

You are fresh blackberries
The first flush of autumn
The pickings of my jam jar

You are a floating cloud
Reflecting depths of blue
On the wintry bay

You are the light 
On a December evening
Curled beside my glowing log

You are a droplet of snow
Falling from the eaves
Kissing my face

You are the silks of the orient
Orange, violet and scarlet
Draped on an Indian princess

You are my caring girl
Boisterous, teasing, funky
Simply, You are You
