I Love You and What Is Wrong With That

I love you
and what is wrong with that?

Every time I remember you
My lips shaped to say I love you,
I love you
I do
What is wrong with that?

You've been on my mind
Its always been you
Stuck in my brain, It is always you

I am trying so hard not to think about you
Distracting myself by watching videos, movies
and stories all-day
But you are still my favourite distraction all of the time
I let you stay in my mind
No matter how hurtful it is
Somehow, I am enjoying the pain

I love you, I'm madly in love with you
I wish you could feel it
So badly I want to scream out loud to say "I love you"
and what is wrong with that?

I want something that I cannot put into words
"I want you"
And I want you to want me...
But it seems unthinkable

I want you to understand this deep feeling that I have
Touch it
Feel it
It makes your hands bleed

Your presence is the light of my life
The air that I breath
But your absence is Everywhere I look!
I'm lost without you...
You left a goodbye kiss on my forehead
Feels like stabbing a sword into my heart
That I am hardly breathing

I still love you
Even though my heart is devastated
I carry on the pieces till they leave me breathless
So, tell me ...
What is wrong with loving you that much?
Can you feel this?
The pain that I carry on my chest, Can't you?

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
