I Love You Always

You are the light, pouring over my life…
Erasing shadows, reflecting hope
You are the joy, raining in my soul…
Liquid smiles, promising insight
You are the music, singing each note…
Coloring my life in hues of grace

You are the wisdom, the inspiration…
Baptizing my thoughts in the new,
The kindness, the laughter and thanks
For all that is love, falling from above…
Praying for the moments who simplify
Reassure and remind me why…
You are the warmth in my fire
You are the tenderness in my kiss
You are the feeling beneath my bliss

You are light, brilliant and alive…
Shining down like the morning sun,
Wiping out the darkness of the past,
Pouring out wonder that abounds…
Inside this heart of mine, where I find…
You are a part of my life that stirs me…
To dance, to smile, to find the delight.

You are my life and I can’t imagine why…
I’d ever let you go. 
You are the one I know…
As the breath of hope in my soul
The hint of gentleness in my heart
The sense of appreciation in my promise…
Of a love that abides in my life…
Forever and always, never letting go
Always controlled by the One who gives hearts
Their ability to smile, the music compiled
By those who know His life… brought hope
Inspired faith and love that sings with delight

You are the love of my life
Your warmth heals all strife
You are the answer to my prayer
For a friend who will always care
You are the kindness in my soul
Your love has made me whole

Please don’t ever let me go
You are the one God gave me to love
With a love that He provoked

I love you – always, forevermore
