I Love You

I love you
For reducing the pain
And comforting me
When I was unhappy

I love you
Because you were there
When I lost myself
And I thank you for that

I love you
Even when I scream
Seeing you with him
And you just laugh

I love you
That will never change
Although my life is futile
So I must end it soon
(Do not worry,
I will do it when you are unaware; when the sun goes down, and you are making love with him under the moon)

Tormented yet beautiful poem on how we are capable of such love. Hang in there, if you ever need someone who understands - I am here. Our love may never change but our hearts can stay here on this earth - to grow and connect, we can heal. Xx
