I Love You

I love you

The first time I saw you,
 I remember the day,
Seem like just yesterday.
a bounce in your step,
A smile on your face, 
a twinkle in your eyes.
Without a word, 
You said I love you.

The first time I met you,
I remember the day,
Seem like just yesterday.
Introduced by a friend,
a warm embrace,
a gentle squeeze.
I was way too nervous 
To say then I love you.

The first time we kissed,
I remember the day,
Seem like just yesterday.
You held my hand,
I looked into your eyes,
Without a cue I stole a kiss.
Right then and there I knew,
I had to say baby I love you.
