I Love Writing Poetry

I love writing poetry
And brighting up everyone's day
By sharing an encouraging word
In a very special kind of way

To reach into their heart
And really make one smile
When they hear the kind of things
That's written in a unique style

Or maybe to touch ones mind
And really make them think
Of all the challenges in life
That can happen before you blink

But of all the words I've written
From my heart I say openly
I'm thankful to God above
Cause I love writing poetry.
