I Love Teapots
I love the shape of teapots
Their beautiful bulbous curve
And how they can then brew the brew
That quickly calms your nerve.
I love the simple handle
Colored brown or black or white
And I love the little lid they have
That holds the heat in tight.
I love the steam from the spout
When you fill it to the top
And I love the tons of tea for sale
When you buy them from the shop.
But the biggest thing I love of pots
Occurs after I brew the blend,
It's the cup of tea with cake in hand
And talking with a friend.
