I Love My Pen

I love my pen….

My pen is my best friend
Cause, he is the only one that knows about me well
I am holding on to him from my childhood
He plays with me by words and art works
My pen is my library where my knowledge has grown
He always listen to me and draw beauty lines on paper
He is always there for me through thick and thin
He feel sad he cannot speak to me
But his words are mesmerizing me.
Sometimes he is wired and makes me crazy too
Most of the time my thoughts are occupied with my work
He helps me out with his importance and creative.
Sometimes he plays like greatest of soft instrument
At the same time, when he disturbed he becomes like mightiest weapon
Anyone who wants to attack me, I use my pen as shield as a worrier.
My pen is a great person to live with.
I love my pen.

a writer would consider his pen as a sword .he is a warrior blessed with God to fight against the irregularities in the society .but most of our writers live in dreams world .jk

Dear Joise, Thank you very much for your comment on my poem. Very much appreciated. I am happy to note that you write poem for kids. Welcome. What I have written here regarding weapon means writing power of pen. Not to use pen as weapon to cause injuries to others. Some Reporters do write very strongly but using pen as the weapon for their workings etc. Thanks.

Hello Ravi. We always associate writers with pens, but I hardly ever seem to use a pen these days, and that is quite a shame because a pen has always been important to me. I was a Pitman shorthand writer (140 words per minute) and I taught shorthand for many years. Now I am retired and write poems for children, but I always type my poetry on my computer and would be lost without it. Be careful about suggesting to children that they use a pen as a weapon. It could be dangerous especially if it goes into a child's eyes. If I were you, I'd change that if this is going to children.
