I Love My Mittens

 

I will never give up my warm mittens-
for those stiff and so awkward gloves,
for mittens are warm like kittens.
I will never ... give up my warm mittens!
Oh, gloves I will not be missin'
for any kind are not my loves.
I will never give up my 'warm' mittens,
for those stiff and ... so awkward gloves!

Hi Constance. Mittens. Fond memories from long gone years. My older sister knitted some for me. Something cosy about them and yes better than gloves. Don't seem to see them these days. Thanks for this, a lovely memory. Tony
