I Love My Car
I love my car, I truly do.
It's ten years old not quite new.
It still runs well low mileage to.
There are scratches, dings and dents
from mall days frequently spent.
It still gleams in the sunlight of the day
though brakes and tires sing on the highway.
For a moment, brief as it was
I considering trading in just because
the age, the daily wear and tear of time
but its value sadly had tremendously declined
and a new car price tag scared me so
that my finacial status drooped far below
what social security could bestow.
From the car dealer i drove quick away
I love my car and that's all I can say!
