I Love Me

When you've been through hell and back,
And now you're wiser, your mind intact,
When your love has been used, leaving you hurt,
But you survived, and now you're grounded like dirt,
When the challenges of life, has thrown some low blows,
But after being knocked down a few times, found life 
weakness, one to the nose,
When you've given so much of yourself, trying to make 
others right,
But when you're in your dark tunnel, no one's around 
to turn on the light,
You've learnt your lessons and after travelling lifes' journey 
for so many miles,
You now feel an internal peace, and from deep down in your soul it brings out a smile...

But, not everyone smiles afterward. That is where we need to be, in your title, at the end of trials, and where God hopes us to be. I thank you for this poem.
