Notes About The Poem

I Love Loving My Lover

Long and lush, and soft and delicious,
An absolute pinnacle of flavour.
A dream of exotic, a poetic main meal,
Each mouthful a memory to savour.

Each sip gets me drunk, as high as a kite,
The love mountain that I alone trek.
She half knocks me out and I fold on the ground,
And my fingers find sleep on her neck.

I wake to a moan, then I pull her to me,
Her smell is inside of my vein.
And I drink from her open, devouring everything,
As her toxin removes all my pain.

Nothing compares to the taste that she leaves,
When I lick and I drink and I bite.
She’s my beautiful girl, my exquisite hot lover,
Laying beside me every hot steamy night.
