A few things I love about my partner.

I Love It When You

I love it when you bounce brightly about,
All chirpy and fun and grinning.
You’ve been a ball of happiness always,
Right from the beginning.

I love it when you make us both coffee, 
Then sit and talk in the sun.
And you have a couple of smokes to relax,
And we talk with everyone.

I love it when you prattle with the folks, 
They all get a nice sprightly chat.
Everyone’s treated so beautiful by you,
Even cuddling that cranky old cat.

I love it when you agree to try things, 
Even though they might seem mysterious.
Travelling 500 clicks down the road, to a beach, 
Where we simply refuse to be serious.

I love it when you cuddle at night, 
And do what all couples love to do.
And then we fall asleep, in each others arms,
I love dreaming a dream about you.
