I Love Bird Language
Language of birds I love
The salient words of the heart...
I want to speak tongue of birds
The very birds that fly free allover
Red birds that carry Valentine love
I want to know pulse of their oval heart
So I would know when they want
To fly distant mountains over
And cross seas vast and yonder
With gentle pinions that never tire:
Cruising deep into foreign hearts
With warm words of love
From lips of gorgeous birds
In lovely melody sung.
Love of paired birds
Sung musically in free verse.
Love that flows high in the air
Scented with pleasure of vast atmosphere.
Silent whisper of my heart to the bird over
Taught to the heart by that very bird.....
I love indeed the birds of the air,
I love to sail the winds above;
Where the spirit of freedom catches fire
Raised higher by the windstorms that gather
Blinding particles of dust and push the smoke up.
I love the love of lover birds
Speaking free language of birds
The very words of love.
