Dressed in spectacular, she engulfed my world,
Shattering my life of commotion and flutter.
I glimpsed through her blue eyes, into her soul,
My instinct spoke but I could only hear stutter.
Her story was brave, she owned her own thoughts,
And she loved like no other could.
I loved her beyond any language of the world,
It was her everything that I understood.
And then it happened, she stopped dreaming about dreams,
Her iron cold rage soon became hot.
And she broke my heart the day she left on a bus,
I’d lost my soul mate but, dispassionately, she had not.
