I Lost My Eyes

My back laid on this old coconut tree, My feet rested upon this shapeless rock, My hands set on this mid-sized notebook, Only my eyes- Lost. The sun shore right through the blue Dressed sky, kissing her lush caramel skin. The breeze smoothly caressed her dark, Sleek tresses. I am jealous- The waves took turns jumping with her, As they laughed at everyone at the beach. I wish I was the one she took the many Glimpses at, with a smile I can’t yet explain. Now I must save my heart, Which I was losing, Together with- My eyes.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
