I Lost Everything But Found Jesus

I Lost Everything... But Found Jesus!

I didn't know how good I had it,
until I lost all that I owned.
I lost my family, my cars
and even my home.

I tried to live a life according
 to a "good principle."
I let pride get in the way and
 felt "invincible."

I once had money, wealth and fame.
It seemed like everyone around
 me all knew my name.

I feel empty, afraid
and "at my wit's end."
Everyone has left me.
 Even my close “friends.”

Jesus... You're the one I know
that I can call upon.
You make things "right"
when all seems "wrong."

Only you can give,
what money can never buy.
I humbly kneel before you Lord,
with a desperate cry.

Please help me dear Jesus!
 I know that you can.
I read in your word that you are;
"I AM that I AM!"

In YOU... Jesus... I’ve
 found life's meaning.
Your life for mine,
 is what I'm receiving!

You're my best friend whom
I love so much.
I long for your mercy and peace...
your "special touch."

You alone brought a joy that a
fortune could never give...
You brought me hope, peace
 and a reason to live!
