I Live For Him

i am a first class sinner
i am a first class betrayer
i am the one who was standing in the crowd screaming

      crucify him
      crucify him

but all he did was look at me with love
all he did was tell me that i am forgiven

when the clouds pulled in
the crowd grew smaller
the people were fading from the streets of the city

the last words that i heard him say is
              it is done.

the wind blew hard the clouds grew the thunder roared

there was silence

that moment when the crowed stood still realizing they have killed the man that
was sent to for fill the prophecy
to give use love
to give us hope
to give us salvation

he has died for us
the very least we can do is live for him....

I see you not only excel in writing poetry but also in painting. This poem brought it all back to my mind as those I was standing at the very scene. Praise God He made a way of escape. God bless you sister. - Peggy
