I Listen

I'm listening - my eyes are closed
I recollect the beauteous blues skies
Hues ever so elegantly prominent
He speaks ! He whispers in vane
His heart bleeds - with spoken word
Words part his lips - the sun shines
Mesmerized - the past is where i went
The light sheds! The broken vow
Yet crippled emotionally ! He says
" I Love You" Evidently I feel pain
He mends his broken heart
His tale ! I heard every word
I'll believe what I see
"I want to make her feel beautiful"
Is he bewildering this , me?
Romance in the air - thus I care
One long stem brushes my mind
Each moment together - breath
The future is ours yet to then find
I breathe love ! I sit
Pondering silently
And the door opens slightly
He knocks
I believe I see it fit
I'm listening - you flirt
Am I holding you?
Day by day
Night and nightly
I recollect those hues in the sky
Hypnotized my feelings - I see why
I'm still silent
I 've heard every word
I listened - my heart glistened..
