I Lied

I had to set you free
You sang less of your melody
You were a medowlark
Beautiful as can be
You sat there with the door wide open
Each day I tried to slowly close it
You tried an tried to make everyday
The moment I was about to lock the door
I saw your eyes...
I saw pain an hurt in them
While you sang a beautiful song
....
I lied to free you
I sacrificed us so you wouldn't have too
Everything I did
I did in love
Until you find God we are no more
So spread your wings
An keep on singing
Your voice is majestic
Your eyes are breath taking
One day you will make a great husband
Right now your not for me.
