I Lie Awake At Night

I lie awake at night
I’m not in it for the fight
Can’t you see I’m grieving
I can’t stop believing
It goes through my mind again
The fighting gets me in the end

So what is left for me
Will it be pretending you see
Just laying in the dark alone
Staring blankly at my phone
Even if I call you and I wait
You won’t answer so I hesitate.
